Fair point, in the doomsday scenario we're not going to be thinking about writing 😂
Maybe it's scary because it's happening so fast and it feels like we can't keep up next to our regular commitments. If corporations and employers introduced AI in the workplace on a low scale level (feels like everyone is just supposed to learn things like proper prompting or basic coding themselves!), as a help not a stressor, people might be more at ease. But that's just my idealism talking.
I think what you write about a more mindful, human centric use of AI is just the school of thought that needs to win out for all of this to work. But again, people can't be overwhelmed or they won't engage.
