I'm not sure what it is exactly, either-some of it is probably down to luck, like hitting on a topic that speaks to the current zeitgeist. Or being a thought leader. We've got some stories here that regular media outlets wouldn't touch, so there's also that. But it's obviously not just these 'one in a million kind of stories' that earn well. Hmmm...still interesting to think about.
