It's nice to hear from someone who obviously enjoyed the book. I agree, the fact that Bradley imbues Gore with a greater depth than is the norm in conventional romance stories makes the character appear more memorable. I especially enjoy the fact that for all the wonder that is cooking pho and leather, we've got a hero who is flawed and ambiguous and not always morally upstanding/right.
