Of course these ethnic groups are model immigrants-no one disputes that. They've worked their way to the top and that's something that deserves our universal respect.

But my article is trying to point out the fallacy of getting caught up in status and privilege to the point that we are loth to see the injustice around us-for example, at the onset of the Black Lives Matter protests, support from the Indian/Chinese communities was scarce, something even select journalists of the self-same communities pointed out.
